Shutterfire:
- is a machine that fits between your tripod and your camera
- weighs only two pounds and fits in a backpack pocket
- is powered by four AA batteries or through an external power port
- is controlled via wifi, meaning any smartphone, tablet, PC, etc. (no apps to install)
- performs various operations including:
- takes a series of overlapping photographs you later stitch into a VLP (very large photograph)
- takes a series of nearly identical images for creating a super-resolution image
- takes a series of photographs that you later combine into a timelaspe movie
- rotates and tilts and fires the shutter under remote control from your phone
- takes up to nine bracketed exposures
- takes bulb-mode exposures of any time duration
- will be commercially available very soon now
- will have a retail price under $300
